A Magical Day

Every trip to Disney World's Magic Kingdom is a Magical Day.  This page is perfect for featuring that magic!  I think I have a picture of us standing in front of Cinderella's Castle when my oldest was two totally passed out on dad's shoulder.  I might just use that picture for this page.  So magical that it tuckered him out!

This page may look a little complicated but it wasn't really.  The castle is just piecing together lots of rectangles and using a template to make the parapets at the top (this can be something roughly drawn and doesn't need to be perfect).  We used bricks cut out from the an impression made with the brick embossing folder.  An alternative would be to use the bricks mask and embossing paste.  I might try that on a different page at some point.  The flag is made using the tip of the fox's tail in the fox punch.  The windows are made by half punching a rectangle with a circle punch.

I mentioned in a previous post how the Magical Day set is essential for Disney scrapbooking.  I would have just bought it to make that little "Magical" banner, but its uses go far beyond!  You can only get this set for a few more days, so order now!  Inspiration for this page came from the 2018 Occasions Catalog.  This was a fun page to make!
