I decided to take a break from blogging on Labor Day and spend some time on my craft room instead. For those of you who know me well, you know the craft room is the thorn in my side. It seems to be the two car garage size walk in closet for my house where everyone dumps things and toys my kids have grown out of are laid to rest. Every year, I set my sites on cleaning it and then get all consumed by volunteering all my free time. This school year, I am setting limits. With my handing over the reigns of Cubmaster in 2019, I'm working on making our Pack less dependent on me. I'm also limiting the amount of volunteering I do in the kids' schools. So this needs to be the school year that the craft room gets cleaned. Baby steps!
Well, on to today's card! Tonight, my youngest has a birthday party for one of his friends who also happens to be one of the scouts in our Pack, so I wanted to make him a special card. I have to say this card is somewhat CASEd from an insert in on one of my Paper Pumkins this year. I changed the colors and +/- some stamping. I absolutely love how it came out and love the color scheme I chose. I know a lot of people struggle with boy/masculine cards, but sometimes it is just a color adjustment that is needed.
Here are the ingredients for this card:
