Just Keep Swimming
Last week, I had the pleasure of sharing my love for stamping with one of my friends and some of her pals. She is a big scrapbooker, so we opted to have one of the Make-N-Takes be a scrapbook page. We made a 8x6 page which could be mounted on a larger page (12x12 pictured here) or could even be framed. This page suits a rather small picture so I was so happy to find this pic from Disney in front of the "Finding Nemo" characters when we took my oldest son on his first trip. It was appropriate to pull out this picture as we are preparing for his fifth trip!
This page is very versatile and works for beach pictures, aquarium pictures or even Disney. I love how you can mask out the word "Have" in the sentiment stamp to create a great page title! At first, I wasn't going to get this stamp set, but am so happy I did! I've been able to use the entire Tranquil Textures suite to make so many cute summery projects.
Here are the ingredients:
Stamps: Seas of Texture
Paper: Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Tranquil Tide, Soft Sea Foam, Very Vanilla, Tranquil Textures DSP
Ink: Fresh Fig, Mint Macaron, Soft Sea Foam
Accessories: Under the Sea Framelits

A Magical Day
Every trip to Disney World's Magic Kingdom is a Magical Day. This page is perfect for featuring that magic! I think I have a picture of us standing in front of Cinderella's Castle when my oldest was two totally passed out on dad's shoulder. I might just use that picture for this page. So magical that it tuckered him out!
This page may look a little complicated but it wasn't really. The castle is just piecing together lots of rectangles and using a template to make the parapets at the top (this can be something roughly drawn and doesn't need to be perfect). We used bricks cut out from the an impression made with the brick embossing folder. An alternative would be to use the bricks mask and embossing paste. I might try that on a different page at some point. The flag is made using the tip of the fox's tail in the fox punch. The windows are made by half punching a rectangle with a circle punch.
I mentioned in a previous post how the Magical Day set is essential for Disney scrapbooking. I would have just bought it to make that little "Magical" banner, but its uses go far beyond! You can only get this set for a few more days, so order now! Inspiration for this page came from the 2018 Occasions Catalog. This was a fun page to make!
Here are the ingredients:
Stamps: Magical Days (retiring)
Paper: Myths & Magical Specialty DSP (retired), Smoky Slate, Basic Grey, Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry, Crumb Cake
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: 1-3/4" Circle Punch, White Embossing Powder, Stampin' Dimensionals, Magical Mates Framelits (retiring), Fox Builder Punch, Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (retired)

Under the Sea
A trip to Ariel's Grotto couldn't have a better page to feature those perfectly captured moments with the Little Mermaid herself. Or what about some pics outside the Under the Sea-Journey of the Little Mermaid? Whatever mermaid adventure you choose, the Magical Days stamp set and coordinating Magical Mates Framelits has the perfect stamps to highlight your adventure! This set is my "Go To" Disney stamp set and it is only available for a few more days! Be sure you pick up your bundle by shopping my online store. Watch my blog for more Disney pages using this set in the coming days! Sadly, the paper that coordinates with this set has been depleted, but you can easily use the stamps in this set to create your own Designer Series Paper.
I was also able to put to use the new Make a Difference stamp set, currently available in an exclusive bundle and soon to be available on its own in the upcoming annual catalog, to create the title. The Pear Pizzazz area by the mermaid is perfect for journaling and the page accommodates 3 square pictures.
Here are the ingredients:
Stamps: Magical Days (retiring), Seaside Shore (retiring), Make a Difference
Paper: Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Whisper White, Myths & Magic Specialty DSP
Ink: Basic Black, Pear Pizzazz, Bermuda Bay
Accessories: Magical Mates Framelits (retiring), Cajun Craze Marker, Powder Pink Marker, Dark/Light Pool Party Blends, Stampin' Dimensionals, Tutti-Frutti Sequins

It's All About the Mouse
This past weekend, I held my first "Scrapbook Your Disney Vacation" class. We made four pages which I will share over the next few posts. This one was one of my favorites and has spots for 4 of your favorite pics...maybe some one-on-one time with the "Big Cheese"?
I love how you can use the die cuts from "Swirly Scribbles" to make the Mickey image! Basic Black, Real Red and Daffodil Delight are the perfect color combo for any Disney themed page!
Here is what was used (note some paper has already run out and is discontinued, but the upcoming catalog has some great alternative options!):
Stamps: Colorful Seasons, Happy Birthday Gorgeous
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Whisper White, Basic Black, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (balloons), Tutti-Frutti DSP, Whole Lot of Lovely DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Lots of Love Framelits, Swirly Scribbles Thinlits, Balloon Bouquet Punch

Magical Masking Tape Hits Scrapbooking
In January, my stamp club got to dabble in the Magical Masking Tape technique. We made several cards with this easy as can be technique. As I designed one of the cards, I thought it would be a great technique to carry over onto one of my scrapbook pages. This page took no time at all! The most time consuming part was die cutting the letters.
If you haven't tried this technique, it is something you should. All you have to do is get some painter's tape (my preference) or masking tape and ink it up light or heavy depending on the effect you want to achieve and "stamp" it on to your paper. I use painter's tape so it releases easy from the paper and does not risk tearing my project. As you can see, I used this tape technique under my picture with two different colors and two different lengths of tape.
This project also uses the banner punch that you can earn for free this month with a $50 purchase. I love this little punch. It is a great addition to my scrapbooking supplies! I also used new paper from our Occasions seasonal catalog that will only be available through the spring.
Here are the ingredients to recreate this page:
Stamps: None for this project...just painter's tape
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Tangerine Tango
Paper: Whisper White, Retro Fresh DSP, Pool Party
Accessories: Banner Punch, Typeset Alphabet Sizzix Dies

Long Lost Scrapping
I was thinking this week that is has been quite a while since I have posted a scrapbook page, so I decided to break out a new stamp set I got this summer. I prefer not to journal prior to posting, so I will be adding some journaling strips to the page over the banners on the right. The title will be on the corresponding page "A Pirate's Life for Me". It came together very quickly. The most time consuming part was cutting out the banner images, but did that while I was catching up on some of my TV programs!
Here are the ingredients for this page:
Stamps: Settin' Sail
Paper: Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Eastern Elegance DSP
Ink: Crushed Curry, Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler Bakers' Twine, Stampin' Dimensionals (hard to see in picture; used to lift the banner)

Some New Goodies

I have been really getting into scrapbooking this week with the class I am taking. I am currently at 5 pages which is amazing for me. Between playing with the kids, going to kid activities, work, and housework, I am lucky if I get one page done a month. This class is really motivating me and getting me to make time! For some reason, I really love to scrapbook in the summer, so that helps too. I finally really got a chance to dig into my new supplies. For these pages, I used one of our new Designer Series papers and its coordinating stamp set. All of the buttons used on the pages are retired. I am waiting for my next order to update my button supply.
Here are the ingredients:
Stamps: Friends Never Fade
Paper: Greenhouse Gala DSP, Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand, Travel Journal DSP
Ink: Baja Breeze
Accessories: Not Quite Navy Brads, Boho Blossoms Punch, 2-3/8 Scallop Circle Punch, 1-3/4 Circle Punch, Assorted Buttons, Whisper White 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Staples, Naturally Serif Sizzix Die

Unexpected Scrapbooking

These pictures are ones I never expected to scrapbook. I had planned on putting all my honeymoon pictures in a picture album, but when our summer mini catalog came out with our new travel paper and stamp set, I had to pull these pictures out of hiding. I am selecting the best pictures from our trip to scrapbook, not all of them. I know for many people it can be difficult to not scrap all your pictures, but picking out a select few and not overloading your page truly draws your attention to the pictures you do select. You can always use your journaling to fill in the gaps.
Here are the ingredients:
Stamps: Baroque Motifs, Sentimental Journey
Paper: Travel Journal, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue
Ink: Crumb Cake, Night of Navy
Accessories: Mini Library Clip, Jumbo Brad, Top Note Sizzix Die, Curly Label Punch, 1" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Word Window Punch

A Simple Page with Stamps

This post is long overdue. I have been wanting to post a scrapbook page for a while. This page is so simple! This is actually my second of this style. I took my grandparents wedding photo for the page. The Bella Bleu Designer Series paper is great for heritage pages. The ribbon I used is retired, but there are other ribbons that would coordinate just as well with the page. I will eventually use the area below the "Love" to journal. Here are the details:
Stamps: Lovely Letters Alphabet
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper
Ink: Not Quite Navy Craft
Accessories: Dressed Up Ribbon Originals® (Retired), Long Board, Big Shot Die Cutter, Serif Essentials Alphabet Die
